Girls Scout's Dome of the Rock Mommy & Me Art Session 2023
This was one of my favorite art classes. I had about 39 participants of middle schooler girls and their moms. Each person painted her version. The painting was a detailed dome of the rock in a calm landscape. We used acrylic paint.
I talked about different brush strokes, techniques of blending. Color theory and perspective.
